What I do

Director of Photography Light and camera for fiction, documentary and commercials: Drama 1882, Pandora, Sensodyne, The Solanges, Oriental Weavers and the Alexandria Project virtual production.
Director Shorts, documentary and campaigns: The Cheerful Giver (2019), Sedhom (2013), Away from the Heat (2012), Venice, this is not a painting (2020), Who Am I? (2024), the UNAIDS awareness campaign with the actress Yousra (2019), and commercials for Pandora, Sensodyne and Oriental Weavers. The feature documentary I Am A Script Girl is in production.

Earlier work

Between 2009 and 2018 Mina worked across the commercial and independent scene in Cairo. He shot campaigns for BIM Market, Maghrabi Hospital, Sahara Petroleum (SAPESCO, with 3010 Films), Mountain View (Giza Plateau and October Park) and the Al Amreya Cement Factory, and shot and colored work for Volkswagen, Fiat and Clorox. He worked with MBC on QUMRA and CGI episodes (2017–18). As a colorist he graded No One There, A Chance for Peace, Copt’s Island and A Birthday Card, and he was line producer on Under the Pyramid (a Swedish feature), The Long March and Meeting Dr. Emad Seyam.
